Vintage, artisan market coming to Eureka Springs

The Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a new two-day vintage and artisan market during War Eagle Weekend this fall.

The Eureka Springs Vintage & Artisan Market is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16-17, at Pine Mountain Village in Eureka Springs. Admission will be free.

The market will feature vintage vendors, antique dealers, artisans, makers, boutiques, specialty merchants and food vendors. Organizers say the event is intended to capitalize on the thousands of visitors who travel to Northwest Arkansas each fall for War Eagle Weekend and other arts, crafts and shopping events.

“October is already one of the most exciting times of year in Eureka Springs, and War Eagle Weekend brings an incredible amount of traffic into Northwest Arkansas,” said Devin Henderson of the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce. “We saw an opportunity to create a market that complements that weekend, supports vendors and local businesses, and encourages visitors to spend more time in Eureka Springs.”

Organizers say shoppers can expect a mix of vintage and antique items, handcrafted goods, art, home décor, apparel, collectibles, specialty products and food.

Vendor registration is open. Standard spaces of up to 10 feet by 10 feet are $100. Premium spaces of up to 10 feet by 20 feet are $200 without power and $250 with power. Food truck spaces are $300.

Vendors may register through the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce website at EurekaSpringsChamber.com.

Pine Mountain Village is located along U.S. Highway 62 and provides access to nearby restaurants, lodging, attractions and shopping as well as Eureka Springs’ historic downtown.

The chamber said the market also is intended to encourage overnight visits during one of Northwest Arkansas’ busiest fall weekends and bring additional visitors to locally owned businesses and attractions throughout Eureka Springs.
