Sept. 14 is deadline for Master Gardener training

The Carroll County Master Gardeners are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and inviting the community to join the celebration by becoming a Carroll County Master Gardener. To become a member, interested individuals need to complete an application by Sept. 14. There are limited spots available.

This year’s 40-hour training begins Oct. 21 and runs weekly through Nov. 18 at the Carroll Electric Community Room. Training is held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $125 for in-person training and $150 for online training. There are a limited number of half-off scholarships available. Please inquire when picking up the application.
