Families are invited to decorate their bicycles and celebrate community spirit during a Bicycle Parade scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at the Oak Grove School House Community Center and Park, located at 74 Carroll County Road 624 near Green Forest.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with bicycle sign-up and decorating. Judging will follow at 10:30 a.m., with entries competing in two categories: big and little. The bicycle parade will begin at 11 a.m.
Organizers encourage participants to decorate bicycles, wagons, strollers, scooters and other wheeled vehicles in patriotic red, white and blue. Attendees are also encouraged to wear patriotic colors as part of the celebration.
In addition to the parade, the event will feature games, refreshments, water activities, quilt baskets and raffle baskets. Organizers say the event is designed to bring neighbors together while celebrating summer and the community in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
The Bicycle Parade is open to all ages.
