With hot days and warm evenings, cold tea is an enjoyable and healthy pleasure. Mother Nature provides for us in abundance if we will only let her. CAPC brainstorms potential events

The Eureka Springs City Advertising and Promotion Commission used its June 8 workshop as a brainstorming session about ways to better utilize basement space at The Aud. The space, which is currently being renovated, gives the city a perfect opportunity to host a variety of expos throughout the year, according to Madison Dawson, the CAPC tourism director.

Donations help local students attend band camp

Thanks to the generosity of several individuals and businesses, 21 local students will be able to participate in summer band camps. Jim Swiggart with the Carroll County Community Orchestra recently announced that, because of the financial support from the community, students will receive scholarships to attend summer camps at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
