Ozarks Chorale Returns

Coming almost full circle from Springfield, down to Texas and recently back to the Ozarks, Jess Wade, accomplished choral director at Texas A&M University, picked up the baton to conduct his first concert with the Ozarks Chorale on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Eureka Springs Auditorium.

Sharp joins CS Bank as senior VP

Jason F. Tennant, president and chief lending officer for CS Bank, has announced the hiring of Joe Don Sharp as senior vice president/loan officer for the bank’s Boone County Market. Born and raised in Yellville, Sharp graduated from Yellville-Summit High School in 1996 and went on to attend College of the Ozarks. He lives in Berryville with his wife Ashley and their two children, Sadie and Sophia.

A nativity scene placed in Eureka Springs’ Basin Spring Park by the Great Passion Play will remain in place, the play’s executive director announced Monday afternoon, after city officials requested last week that it be removed.
