Coming almost full circle from Springfield, down to Texas and recently back to the Ozarks, Jess Wade, accomplished choral director at Texas A&M University, picked up the baton to conduct his first concert with the Ozarks Chorale on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Eureka Springs Auditorium.

Jason F. Tennant, president and chief lending officer for CS Bank, has announced the hiring of Joe Don Sharp as senior vice president/loan officer for the bank’s Boone County Market. Born and raised in Yellville, Sharp graduated from Yellville-Summit High School in 1996 and went on to attend College of the Ozarks. He lives in Berryville with his wife Ashley and their two children, Sadie and Sophia.

The Eureka Springs Highlander Mountain Bike Team wrapped up its second season with a fifth-place overall finish at Centennial Park in Fayetteville, beating much teams from larger schools like Bentonville West, Fayetteville Composite and Russellville.
