Throughout Good Shepherd‘s history the tireless efforts of our volunteers over the decades have enabled Good Shepherd in becoming the oldest, most effective no-kill shelter in Carroll County. Together, we have proudly saved, rescued, rehomed, spay/neutered and vaccinated thousands of cats and dogs (2,031 lives saved in the last five years alone).

For so many of us, memories of the Blues with its Blues Festival, Blues Weekend and Blues Party are entwined into the fabric of who we are as the community of Eureka Springs. The hotel was happy to support its return, but it is the widespread support of the community who have brought it back.

Dear Friends and Citizens, the Eureka Springs Historic Cemetery Commission wishes to inform the public of an ongoing security project at the cemetery that will soon be complete.

Dear Editor: My name is Melody Woodworth; I am trying to reopen the Children’s Rescue Closet. I had this place open at the same location before COVID-19 came into our homes.

Dear Editor, I believe that ALL the members of Eureka’s Cemetery Commission (except Glenna Booth) should immediately resign from their positions, and if not, then the city council should do its duty by removing them from said commission, as they have shown themselves incapable of following the FOIA rules which govern public commission procedures, not to mention their blatant defamation of both myself, Patrick Lujan, and the former groundskeeper, David Helms. I am extremely disappointed in the commission’s actions and words, and needless to say, can no longer continue on as sexton.

Dear Editor, The owners of the home at 14 Washington St. have asked to rezone their property from R1 Victorian Residential to C3 Quiet Commercial to be allowed to have nightly rentals.…
