The Inspiration Point Fire Department Auxiliary will hold its annual bake sale to benefit the department from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at IPFD Station 1, located at 31 Ozark Automotive Road, approximately six miles west of Eureka Springs on U.S. Highway 62.

This week’s Pet of the Week is Istredd. Istredd represents the dozens of kittens currently available for adoption or pre-adoption. Kitten season was strong this year and we have cute little fuzz buckets crawling out of our ears. The Carroll County Master Gardeners are considering joining Boone County Master Gardeners for a Fall Master Gardener Zoom Training class to be held at the Boone County Extension office 1800 Extension Lane in Harrison.
