Funds will help restore Leatherwood baseball fields
Charlie Cross, chief executive officer for CS Bank, recently announced the local bank’s $3,500 donation to the Eureka Springs Baseball Program.
These funds will go toward the full restoration of the Lake Leatherwood baseball fields. These fields will be complete with the highest-grade infield dirt, all-new bases, new dugouts and portable pitching mounds, and will be used universally for grades K-12 for both girls and boys. The field will host its first game on Friday, March 14.
“It is always a pleasure to be afforded the opportunity to invest in our communities’ youth,” Cross said. “Our bank is proud to sponsor the resurgence of our school’s baseball program and appreciates those that are pushing this initiative forward.”
CS Bank is a $603 million bank with seven locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri with plans of continued expansion including a second location in Harrison.
