Eureka Springs rings in 2025 with a New Years’s Eve Bash with a Splash

Eureka Springs celebrated the arrival of 2025 with its first-ever New Year’s Eve Bash with a Splash, bringing the community together for an evening of fun, music and a uniquely Eureka countdown.

The night started with a short and lively parade featuring drummers and flame throwers, setting an energetic tone for the festivities. From there, the music kicked off in the Basin Park bandshell with JukeBoxx Party Band, who got the crowd moving with everyone’s favorite dance songs. Later in the evening, the Melonlight Flash Mob surprised the audience with an impromptu street performance, keeping the excitement high. Fossils of Ancient Robots closed out the night with a fantastic set that carried the celebration into the final moments of the year.

Shops around Basin Spring Park served as warm-up stations, offering hot cocoa and coffee for guests to enjoy between events. A laser light show filled the park with vibrant colors, creating a festive backdrop as everyone waited for the countdown. As the clock struck midnight, confetti rained down on the crowd and a giant “2025” lit up the top of the Basin Park Hotel, drawing cheers and applause. The evening’s signature touch — a descending water droplet — paid tribute to Eureka Springs’ identity as the “city that water built,” adding a unique local flair to the celebration.

Organizers were thrilled with the turnout and the community’s enthusiasm.

“It was such a great way to bring everyone together and welcome the new year,” said Jack Moyer, general manager of the Basin Park and Crescent hotels and chairman of the New Year’s Eve committee. “We’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”

The New Year’s Eve Bash with a Splash combined music, creativity and community spirit, creating a memorable celebration to kick off 2025 in Eureka Springs.
