The Holiday Island Elks Lodge will hold a Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Breakfast will include all you can eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, as well as coffee and juice. Adults are $8 and children under 10 are $4. The Elks Lodge is located at 4 Park Cliff Drive in the Holiday Island shopping center. Everyone is welcome!
IPFD Auxiliary to host pancake breakfast Sept. 7 The Inspiration Point Rural Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at 31 Ozark Automotive Road in Eureka Springs.
The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and bacon, and coffee, juice and/or milk.
The price is $10 for adults and $6 for children under 9 years old.
HI Chamber to host Grand Champion pitmaster
The Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce will host Grand Champion pitmaster and cook John Lindsey for one night only on Saturday, Sept. 7, with 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. seating at Holiday Island Country Club, 1 Country Club Drive in Holiday Island.
The meal will include “Topped Stuffed” marinated pork loin and award-winning smoked and glazed chicken quarters, signature “Southern Bliss” green beans and glazed carrots with brown sugar butter sauce, and New Orleans-style bourbon bread pudding.

Rib Cook-Off Sept. 8 in HI A BBQ Rib Cook-off will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, as part of a Patriot Day celebration at The Barn, 120 Shields Drive in Holiday Island.
