The Arkansas State Broadband Office is bringing their Broadband Roadshow to Carroll County.
All Carroll County residents interested in broadband development are encouraged to attend, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28, at The Auditorium in Eureka Springs.
This is your chance to meet the people responsible for investing the federal BEAD funds of $1.4 billion in broadband access throughout Arkansas. Carroll County needs to ensure we get funded, and our county covered with fiber broadband. They will provide a progress report and take your questions.
The Carroll County Collaborative Broadband Committee has been working with the state broadband office for the past 18 months. The committee submitted a preliminary report of research and findings to the state broadband office in November 2023. An Executive Summary of that report is available on the C3 website at CarrollCountyCollaborative. com along with information about the FCC map challenge process.
