A Eureka Springs woman was killed and a Green Forest man was injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday, Dec. 7, on Carroll County Road 601.

According to an Arkansas State Police report written by Trooper Jacob Graham, Paul Boss, 59, of Green Forest was driving a 2006 Harley-Davidson westbound at 4:05 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle while negotiating a curve.

The motorcycle left the roadway and overturned, Graham’s report says.

Cindy Russell, 50, of Eureka Springs, a passenger on the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at 12:32 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. according to the report. Boss was injured and was transported to the Springfield hospital.
