Dear Editor, Another Halloween has come and gone, and we would like to thank you for helping us get the word out about the White Street Halloween Candy Bank. Because so many generous residents donated more than 400 pounds of candy, we were able to supplement our neighbors’ candy giveaway by at least 15 pounds. That really makes a difference in our budgets, for this privately funded event. The kids had a great time, and families created memories to treasure. Big thanks to everyone who donated, and to those that came out to play. It’s wonderful to see how joyful a community can be! See you next year!
