Fundraising efforts have been splashing success

For the past seven years, the Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation (ESCCF) has been focused on repairing and renovating campus structures, but it is now time for us to turn our attention to the potential uses our outdoor campus can bring.

The ESCCF has taken the leap into designing and funding a campus splash pad to be located on the highly visible corner of Highway 62 and the beginning of the Historic Loop. This water feature will be both a stunning art installation and an attractive recreational destination for children and families. We can see the smiles and hear the laughter already.

The fundraising campaign began this year and by June, when we hosted our Kickoff Party, we already had over $20,000 donated! Our final goal is set at $300,000.

In May, Le Stick Nouveau generously donated an exquisite fivecourse meal which doubled our donations, bringing the campaign fund to $50,000. We deeply appreciate that Le Stick Nouveau’s chefs and owners, Brandon and Donna Cox, are enthusiastically supportive of the project and are so generous with their time and resources.

“The time frame to open the splash pad depends on how quickly we reach our fundraising goal,” board member Fatima VanZant said.

We are grateful that our community has come together to both host and attend several Splash Pad fundraisers.
