Crescent nominated for ‘10 Best’ list

The 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa in Eureka Spings has been nominated in USA Today’s 2023 10 Best Readers’ Choice travel awards.

USA Today’s expert panel selected the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa as a contender in the Best Family Resort category, which just launched. The contest gives voters four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice at https://www.10best. com/awards/travel/ best-family-resort-2023/.

Voting ends Monday, Aug. 7. Winners will be announced on 10Best at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18.

The 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages, including ghost hunting in “America’s most haunted hotel” with a new Kids Ghost Tour for ages 5-12; hiking and mountain biking with the Crescent’s “front door” trailhead; a family resort pool with such amenities as a heated dressing area with pool towels; family dining in La Cena in the Crystal Dining Room and Sky-Bar Gourmet Pizza; the Frisco Sporting Club featuring a relaxing outdoor atmosphere with games such as hatchet throwing, cornhole, horseshoes, giant chess or checkers, Jenga or bocce ball, along with outdoor concerts, food and drinks; and numerous options for full-body self care, including a range of massages, facials and body treatments at the New Moon Spa. The hotel also offers several other daily resort activities and during the winter months the hotel pool is transformed into a “hot pool” with the temperature maintained at a comfortable 95 degrees. The holiday season brings an array of festivities and in January and February the hotel offers an ice skating rink that adds a touch of winter magic to the experience.
