Heart of Eureka plans ES birthday celebration

Come and celebrate our nation’s birthday and Eureka Springs’ 144th birthday! Heart of Eureka has five days of fun and excitement planned and wants you to attend!

On Friday, June 30, Melonlight Dance Studio will host Salsa Night in Basin Spring Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

March to August (Derrick & Jodi Mears) will perform from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 1, in Basin Spring Park. They’ll be followed by Drumming in the Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lake Leatherwood’s Jamboreeka Celebration will be held Sunday, July 2, beginning with live music by Los Roscoes from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by Sprungbilly from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Announcements will be read at 9:05 p.m., followed by the National Anthem at 9:10 p.m. and fireworks from 9:15 to 9:30 p.m.

More live music is scheduled Monday, July 3, in Basin Spring Park, with Brick Fields playing from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by Skye Pollard from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, July 4, First Line (Daniel Redmond) will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Basin Spring Park. At 1 p.m. there will be a celebration and birthday cake to celebrate Eureka Springs’ 144th birthday.
