Eureka Springs Mayor Butch Berry was elected to serve as vice president for District 3 during the 89th Annual Convention of the Arkansas Municipal League held last week in Little Rock.
More than 1,000 Municipal League officials attended the convention.
Berry has served on the Municipal League Board for six years. Before being elected vice president, he served on the 20212022 Executive Committee and the Advisory Council for Economic Development the previous three years.
In his new leadership role, Berry will work to advance the mission of the Municipal League, which “acts as the official representative of Arkansas cities and towns before the state and federal governments.”
In 2021, Berry was appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on National Service and Volunteerism.
