Eureka Springs is gearing up for an exhilarating four-day extravaganza as the highly anticipated BluesRock and Funk Festival hits town from Thursday through Sunday.
With more than 30 shows spread across various venues, music lovers are in for a treat as they immerse themselves in the captivating rhythms of blues, rock and funk.
This festival promises to showcase a stellar lineup of top talent from the blues, rock and funk genres. From legendary performers to rising stars, the stage will be set for an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all kinds.
Taking the spotlight at The Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, will be the iconic Ray Wylie Hubbard and the sensational Marcia Ball. Hubbard, a masterful storyteller and extraordinary guitarist, has been captivating audiences for more than four decades. Meanwhile, Ball’s electrifying vocals, piano prowess and unique fusion of blues, rock-n-roll and New Orleans-style R&B are sure to deliver an amazing performance.
The host hotel, Basin Park, will be full of energy in its Barefoot Ballroom, featuring standout acts such as the infectious Funk Factory and the groove-inducing King Cabbage Brass Band.
The King Cabbage Brass Band, known for their New Orleans- style brass ensemble, will showcase a repertoire ranging from traditional classics to contemporary hits. Meanwhile, the Funk Factory will infuse their tight grooves and soulful vocals with a modern twist, creating a truly captivating experience.
The Grotto Upstairs will host the Music Maker Blues Revue at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3. This all-star band, with its rich history of backing renowned artists like Guitar Gabriel, has earned international acclaim, captivating audiences worldwide. The Revue will feature a diverse lineup of Music Maker artists, promising a night of exceptional blues performances.
In addition to these headline acts, the festival will include an array of talented performers, including regional favorites like Los Roscoes, Earl & Them and Brick Fields Duo. With a diverse lineup catering to blues, rock and funk enthusiasts alike, the Eureka Springs Blues Party offers something for everyone to enjoy.
