The Good Shepherd Humane Society will mark the official Grand Opening of its new thrift shop in Berryville with a ribbon cutting and event-filled day on Friday, May 19.

GSHS invites the public to come join the celebration and enjoy prizes and surprises designed to say “thank you” to a supportive community. Lunch and beverages will be provided, and special cat and kitten adoptions will be available from the freerange kitten romper room onsite.

There will be gift bags for the first 100 people through the door, games and face painting for the kids and a special gift for each person purchasing an item from the shop that day.

If you haven’t been there yet, come explore the spacious facility at 602 US 62 Spur in the former Carroll County Newspapers building. The thrift store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 479334-8097.
