Vaudeville show to benefit Main Stage

Vaudeville, a show of fun-filled acts, will be brought to life at the Main Stage Black Box Theater, located at 67 N. Main Street in Eureka Springs, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 25-27.

The show will be at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 27. It will serve as a fundraiser for Main Stage, a gathering place for creative hearts and minds of all ages and stages to learn and grow and develop their budding talents.

From an afterschool program in the arts for children and teens, Main Stage started in 1994 at the Lane House and was sponsored by the Episcopal Church, where volunteers provided a weekly community dinner and a family atmosphere for kids to work on homework, play musical instruments and indoor and outdoor recreational games.

Main Stage has grown and includes opportunities such as exhibits, theater, yoga, dance.

The Nov. 25 performance will include a black-tie gala, pre-show entertainment and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5 p.m.
