The Eureka Springs Community Center, located at 44 Kingshighway, will host its second annual Wellness Fair and Open House from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Community Center.
There is something for everyone at this free family friendly event including health screenings and class demonstrations: yoga, Zumba, mediation, Mama and Cub sing along.
Visitors can tour the cardio and weight room and get tips on how to use the machines from licensed personal trainer, John Two Hawks, play at a mini KIDtastic in the Gym session and meet local wellness providers.
Cathy Segur and USPA Ambassadors will also conduct two pickleball workshops scheduled for 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Participants can watch or participate to learn how Pickleball is the number one fastest growing sport in America. The workshops require a reservation, and can be made by calling the community center.
The Eureka Springs High School Rotary Interact Club will also be offering face-painting.
While all this activity is going on, the Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation Board of Directors and volunteers will offer tours of the fitness center, the visionary art studio, and the functional art studio. The Eureka Springs Police Department will be on-hand for car seat checks outside and the Eureka Springs Fire Department will be in the lobby.
