In preparation for their fall book sale, the Friends of the Eureka Springs Carnegie Library are asking for donations of gently used books. Donations can be brought to the library annex media center during library operating hours. FRIDAY, NOV. 4 Film series begins

The Eureka Springs Carnegie Library’s annual documentary film screening series begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 in the Library Annex meeting room at 192 Spring Street. The first documentary shown, “Room 237” analyzes Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of “The Shining,” and the people who believe they have succeeded in decoding the iconic film’s hidden messages and symbols.
