Steve Falkowski (right) presents a check for $7,000 to The Purple Flower Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Resource & Support Center after the Annual Arkansas State Chili Championship in 2024. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 12, at The Barn in Holiday Island. This year’s proceeds will benefit Grandma’s House, a Children’s Advocacy Center. In the past eight years, this event has raised more than $35,000 for local charities. The admission fee to the event is $8 for adults, free for children 12 and under.
