The Carroll County Master Gardeners are delighted to invite the public to attend the group’s upcoming gardening programs, featuring insightful sessions led by expert guest speakers. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, these events promise to provide valuable knowledge and inspiration for all gardening enthusiasts with information appropriate to our region of Arkansas.
The first program in the series will focus on Basic Gardening. Carroll County extension agent Monty Rexwinkle will host an informational session on how to enhance your gardening skills. Gardeners of all levels will enjoy this informative program. The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Carroll Electric Community Room. Cost is $5 at the door, and advance reservations are not required.
The second program in the series will focus on raised garden beds, featuring guest speaker Terry Weiderhaft, a veteran gardener from Benton County. Participants will learn about the numerous benefits and best practices for creating and maintaining raised garden beds. The program will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the Carroll Electric Community Room. The cost is $5 at the door, and advance reservations are not necessary.
