Abendschone Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution honored their American Heritage on Feb. 8. Members presented handmade pieces and heirlooms owned by their great grandparents. Items brought were a handmade rolling pin, shirt sleeve ironing board, teacups, a porcelain bluebird vase, a World War II Soldier’s prayer book, carpenters’ handmade tools, a hand painted decorative egg, and a .38 caliber Colt hand revolver with powder bag.
