A Eureka Springs man is one of five people who were taken into custody on Tuesday, Jan. 14, on drug trafficking charges after an investigation by the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force, according to a news release distributed by the Fayetteville Police Department.
Levi Thomas, 47, of Eureka Springs, Eric Billbie, 44, Kayron Mahone, 45, and Brittany Mahone, 39, all of Springdale, and Roseshell Hamilton, 46, of Fayetteville were arrested on “multiple drug trafficking-related criminal charges,” according to the release.
“During the investigation, Detectives with the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force confiscated approximately 3.35 pounds of methamphetamines, 58 prescription pills, a Mercedes passenger car, $2,700 in U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia,” the release reads.
The 4th Judicial District Drug Task For is comprised of officers from the police departments in Elkins, Elm Springs, Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Springdale, Tontitown and West Fork, and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
“This investigation highlights the dedicated efforts of our Drug Task Force members to keep our community safe from criminal drug trafficking organizations,” the release reads.
