Eureka Reentry Fair scheduled Jan. 22

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Jan. 22, as the Basin Park Hotel in Eureka Springs will transform into a hub of opportunity and support for individuals re-entering the community after drug treatment or incarceration. The Eureka Reentry Fair, running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is a free event that promises to empower attendees with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

Organized by the Arkansas Rural Opioid Use Team Education Network, the event will bring together a wide array of services and resources under one roof. Participants can explore job training opportunities, housing assistance programs, legal aid for record expungement, health and wellness services and peer support for recovery.

For those seeking help with sealing their records, registration is highly recommended. Attendees should bring a copy of their sentencing order or disposition sheet, which can be obtained from the court where they were sentenced. Without this document, assistance may be limited.

“The first step in getting help is knowing where to find it,” says event organizer Jenny Post.

The fair will also feature exciting door prizes to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. For more information, contact Jenny Post at jenny.post@abhinetwork.org or visit aroute.org. Stay connected on Facebook @abhinetwork20 for updates.

This event is a vital step toward building brighter futures for individuals transitioning back into the community. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference.
