A “Meet the Candidates” forum, sponsored by the Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Holiday Island Country Club Ballroom.

Candidates for the District 6 seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives and the Holiday Island City Council will speak, and the public will have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.

There will be a finger-food reception before the forum. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Scott Loftis, editor and publisher of the the Eureka Springs Times-Echo, Eureka! Magazine and the Carroll County News, will serve as moderator.
