The Holiday Island Chamber of Commerce will host Grand Champion pitmaster and cook John Lindsey for one night only on Saturday, Sept. 7, with 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. seating at Holiday Island Country Club, 1 Country Club Drive in Holiday Island.

Rib Cook-Off Sunday in HI A BBQ Rib Cookoff will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, as part of a Patriot Day celebration at The Barn, 120 Shields Drive in Holiday Island.

IPFD Auxiliary to host pancake breakfast Saturday The Inspiration Point Rural Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at 31 Ozark Automotive Road in Eureka Springs.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and bacon, and coffee, juice and/or milk. The price is $10 for adults and $6 for children under 9 years old.
