Two Berryville residents were killed in a three-vehicle accident Monday, Aug. 22, on Arkansas Highway 21.
According to a report written by Arkansas State Police Trooper Jacob Graham, Matthew Porter, 36, of Berryville was driving a 1990 Chevrolet pickup northbound at 4:55 p.m. when he passed a 2014 Toyota pickup on the right using the east ditch line. The Chevrolet re-entered the roadway and collided with the front right of the Toyota, the report says. The Chevrolet then spun counterclockwise into the southbound lane where it collided with a 2016 Freightliner, according to the report.
Porter and a passenger in the Chevrolet, Carrianne Henry, 49, of Berryville were killed.
The report indicates there were no other injuries. The drivers of the Toyota and the Freightliner are not identified in the report.
