Hello, I’m Dorothy. I’m a little on the shy side, but give me time and I’ll warm up to you. My days are typically calm and mellow, just like me. I enjoy the simple things — a comfy bed and a kind voice. Before coming to the shelter, I was not in the best of places. I’ve got heartworms, but don’t let that scare you. I have a couple more treatments left and then will be free of heartworms. I’m just looking for a patient person who will give me the time I need to come out of my shell.
