For some inexplicable reason, misfits find themselves drawn to the magic city: Eureka Springs. The Eureka Springs B.O.M.B Squad is a collection of such self-described weirdos and artsy freaks who share the goal of dropping “charity bombs” on Northwest Arkansas arts organizations. The B.O.M.B Squad chose the new Museum of Eureka Springs Art as their premiere beneficiary. They raised $2,000 through their 2024 Festival of the Arts production at Center Stage Performing Arts Center, “A Good Ol’ Corny Vaudeville.” A public celebration to commemorate the donation was held at the museum on Saturday, July 20. Be sure to check out the work of some of Eureka’s finest at MESA, 44 Kingshighway, from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursdays and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, or make an appointment by calling 479-981-9161. And stay tuned for more fun-raising antics from Eureka Springs’ own B.O.M.B Squad! (Photo courtesy of Eureka Springs Bomb Squad)
