The Harrison Roundup Club Wagon Train Ride is scheduled to travel through Carroll County from Friday, June 21, through Sunday, June 23.
The wagon train is scheduled to make a night stop in Carrollton on Friday, traveling into the county from Boone County back roads.
On Saturday, the wagon train will leave Carrollton and stay on back roads after getting off U.S. Highway 412. The wagon train will take County Road 920 to County Road 995 before stopping for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fry Farms. It will then travel on County Road 9951 to Highway 103 South and from there past Mailbox 8266. This is a new route designed to stay off Highway 103 as much as possible. The wagon train will stop for the night on County Road 733 at approximately 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, the wagons will travel to County Road 719 and Highway 21 South and County Road 516 before stopping for lunch on County Road 519. The party will then continue into Madison County on County Road 516.
The Carroll County CERT team will again have a first-aid station on a remote section of County Road 9951 on Fry Farms. The CERT team also can assist with traffic control if needed on Highway 103 South.
Lunch is being provided at Fry Farms for the CERT team, wagon train outriders, invited wagon members, deputies assisting with the wagon train and guests watching the train arrive.
