The Carroll County Drug Takeback is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office at 205 Hailey Road in Berryville.

The event is a partnership between the sheriff’s office and the Carroll County Hometown Health Coalition, focused on providing a safe place for everyone to dispose of unneeded medications to prevent medication misuse and improper removal of medication from the home.

“We are so excited to work with the sheriff’s office on this awesome event,” said coalition chair Samantha Jones. “When we properly dispose of medication, we help ourselves, our neighbors and the environment.”
