The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow will host award-winning writer Lonnie Whitaker for its monthly Poetluck at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at its facility at 515 Spring St.

Whitaker is a former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and retired district counsel and now works as a writer.

Poetluck is an open mic style poetry reading event for writers of all genres and experience levels. The evening starts with a potluck meal and the open mic style readings start at 6:30 p.m.
