Eureka Springs Hospital will host a Town Hall meeting focused on the hospital’s new Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) designation at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Eureka Springs Auditorium.
The public is welcome to attend the meeting to learn more about the REH designation and give input on the change. Marketing director Samantha Jones said the REH designation makes it possible for the hospital to expand its outpatient services. The hospital’s current outpatient services include speech therapy, physical therapy, lab tests, radiology scans and endoscopy surgery.
“We would love to hear from our community about the outpatient services they are driving two hours round-trip to receive,” Jones said. “We are here because of our community. As always, we want our services to meet our community’s current needs.”
