The Daughters of the American Revolution Abendschone Chapter in Eureka Springs participated in the Veterans Day parade on Saturday, Nov. 11, in Berryville. LaVerne Herman, a Vietnam Veteran, led the DAR Chapter group driving his decorated Corvette with registrar Colleen Cook in her colonial dress and traditional white gloves. Ladies walked and rode through the parade, waving and talking to the cheering residents and giving flags to the crowd.
