Michael “Hawkeye” Pierce of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was born December 11, 1940 to Jack and Lavelle (Price) Pierce. Michael passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2023, in Eureka Springs at the age of 82.
He was a retired Army, Special Forces, Green Beret, who lived a life dedicated to our country. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita “Jenny” Pierce; brother, Robert “Butch” Berry of Eureka Springs Arkansas; sisters, Jackie Michell and Alicia Leo, of Marysville, Washington; step-children, John O’Shea, Vivian Newton, Vincent O’Shea and his beloved grandchildren, Shannon, Kiera, Cash, Khalee, Maddox and Ryker.
He is preceded by his parents, Jack and Lavelle (Price) Pierce; step-mother, Josephine Pierce; sisters, Diane Williams of Marysville, Washington, Shirley Armstrong of Kirkland Washington.
Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Nelson’s Chapel of The Springs in Eureka Springs with Pastor Mike McGinnis officiating. Service dress uniforms welcome. Flower arrangements welcome.
