Eureka Springs Hospital has announced partnership with Emergency Staffing Solutions (ESS) to run the hospital’s emergency room.
ESS brings seven new doctors — Dr. Raymond P. Hartman, Dr. Carolyn E. Vogler, Dr. Jennifer Terry, Dr. Benjamin Carlyle, Dr. Travis Bowen, Dr. J. Coon and Dr. Michael D. Barnum — to the hospital. ESS is retaining Dr. Gary Parkhurst and Dr. Matthew Denefe. All doctors who work with ESS are trained to be in compliance with core measures, EMTALA and HIPAA guidelines.
“We are excited to work with ESS to make our hospital even better,” said Eureka Springs Hospital CEO Angie Shaw. “We are here to serve our community, and ESS is playing a big part in our mission.”
As a critical access hospital, Eureka Springs Hospital keeps the emergency room open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
“We see patients throughout Carroll County, as well as neighboring counties,” Shaw said. “We know how important our emergency room is to the community, and we are always striving to be better at what we do here.”
