Eureka Springs Hospital ER Director Joy Kennedy was honored this week with two awards from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Stroke Program: a certificate of excellence for a successful consult and the Stroke Champion award for an impressive door-to-needle time of 48 minutes. Guidelines recommend a door-to-needle time of 60 minutes, so Joy came in 12 minutes under the average.
