ESSA chosen to receive $5,000 grant from Cox Charities

The Eureka Springs School of the Arts has been selected to receive a $5,000 Community Investment Grant, funded entirely by Cox Arkansas employees from their monthly paychecks.

This grant will provide funding for materials, equipment, and instructional fees to support our Veterans Program.

“This grant provides the additional funding needed to support our veterans programming,” said Kelly McDonough, executive director at ESSA. “We want to continue to find new and exciting programs that enrich their time on our campus as well as offer opportunities for them to explore their skills in artistic ways. The Cox Charities Community Investment Grant will provide equipment that will give back to our program for many years to come and we are greatly appreciative of their support. Knowing that the employees support this fund out of their own paychecks makes this a very special award for us. We look forward to sharing this support with our community in the months and years to come.” The Eureka Springs School of the Arts provides free workshops for veterans throughout the year in cooperation with the VA Healthcare System of the Ozarks, as well as offering a day of free workshops through a Veterans Appreciation Day each November.
