A ribbon cutting and open house for the Eureka Springs Community Center’s new Highlander Room will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18.
Join the community center in thanking the Eureka Springs High School Skills Class students and all the fine professionals who transformed the former high school band room into a beautiful and functional classroom and event space, two smaller meeting rooms and a brand-new serving kitchen.
Explore the new class, meeting and event spaces. The new Highlander Room and adjacent remodeled rooms will be an asset to the Community Center and to Eureka Springs for many years to come.
Enjoy lunch, too — sandwiches and beverages will be provided.
This renovation is the very definition of a community project.
Hundreds of volunteer hours, many large and small donations, discounted invoices from the community’s skilled workers and incalculable time spent by Community Center board members — a community barn raiser!
