The 2023 Carroll County Fair and Livestock Show will be held from Aug. 18-26 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds in Berryville.
“We’ve been up to our elbows and still got more to do,” Carroll County fair board vice president John Swallow said Friday, Aug. 11. “But we’re going to have a great fair. The carnival that we use, they go over and above and they’re great people to work with. All of our businesses in town try to come in. It’s a lot of work but it’s a lot of fun. It’s volunteer, and we’ll take as many volunteers as we can get.”
Horse show checkin will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, with the annual Fair Parade beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
The annual Miss Carroll County pageant will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Berryville High School Performing Arts Center.
Family Fun Night will be Monday, Aug. 21, beginning at 6 p.m.
A car show will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, with the 4H/ FFA Olympics beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.
A Battle of the High School Bands will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23.
The Ranch Rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, with the Parade of Champions during intermission.
The Premium Livestock Sale will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, with truck pulls at 7 p.m. Saturday.
