An artist’s reception celebrating the culmination of the Eureka Springs School of the Arts 2023 Ceramics Residency was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.
Ceramics artists Lisa Crews and Stefani Christianson displayed the work they created while living on ESSA’s campus for their month-long residency, with pieces available for purchase to a crowd of wowed onlookers and patrons of the arts.
Lisa and Stefani showcased an impressive display of more than 100 pieces of art, with each artist giving a 15-minute artist talk each, detailing their creative process and inspiration to a captivated audience.
Light refreshments were served, and a good time was had by all, marking the perfect end to a wonderful ceramics residency.
ESSA would like to extend special thanks to Lisa Crews and Stefani Christianson for their hard work and dedication to their craft, and to all the guests and attendees for making it a reception to remember.
