Hiland Dairy Foods Company, a renowned dairy company headquartered in Springfield, Mo., is proudly stepping up as a new major sponsor in 2023 of the highly anticipated Berryville Ice Cream Social. This annual summertime event, organized by the local Chamber of Commerce, brings together the community for two days of ice cream indulgence on the Berryville Public Square. Hiland Dairy has generously donated 150 gallons of their locally made, delectable ice cream to the festivities.

“We are proud to serve our local community and give back to the people for buying our product throughout the year,” stated Gabe Andes, district sales manager with Hiland Dairy. He noted that the company has been supplying the Berryville area with their delicious ice cream for more than half a century, thanks to their Fayetteville production plant. With over 120 dedicated employees in Arkansas, Hiland Dairy is deeply committed to the region and its residents, he said.

Recognizing the natural alignment between their local presence and the Berryville Ice Cream Social, Andes said the decision to sponsor the event was a no-brainer for Hiland Dairy. “We’re local in Northwest Arkansas, we serve the Berryville area, so it was a natural fit,” Andes said. “By supporting this beloved community event, Hiland Dairy continues its tradition of actively engaging with the communities we serve.”

The Ice Cream Social is scheduled to take place on Saturday June 9th and Friday 10th, and attendees can look forward to savoring the delightful flavors of Hiland Dairy’s ice cream along with enjoying live music, visiting with local vendors and relishing great food.
