A benefit for former Carroll County Judge Sam Barr will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Carroll County Fairgrounds in Berryville.

Barr, 84, is recovering in a residential rehabilitation facility after breaking his leg. He also has been diagnosed with an inflammatory disease.

The June 24 benefit will feature live entertainment by Phil McGarrah and Runnin’ On Empty. There will be baked goods for sale and an auction of items donated by area merchants.
