Eureka Springs Hospital celebrated National Hospital Week May 7-13 with the help of Carroll County businesses, nonprofits and individuals.
The hospital welcomed Arvest Bank, Elite Home Health, Good Shepherd Humane Society, Hillside Eats and Sweets, Eureka Springs Coffeehouse, Equity Bank and Red’s Pizzeria for lunch and activities all week long.
“So many local businesses donated lunch and other treats to us,” said marketing director Samantha Jones. “And Good Shepherd Humane Society brought puppies for everyone to play with. It is always a good day for pet therapy.”
In addition to catered meals and activities, the hospital held a free staff raffle with prizes from businesses and community members throughout the county. “Our staff was so excited for the opportunity to win all kinds of local prizes, from donated merchandise to gift cards to concert tickets,” Jones said. “Hospital week was a great reminder of the generous community we live and work in.”
