Eureka Springs’ annual Parade of Lights will roll through downtown starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2. This year’s parade theme is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Santa Claus will be a part of the parade.
Just before the parade, at 5:30 p.m., Mayor Butch Berry will flip a switch in Basin Spring Park to turn on the city’s Christmas light display.
Eureka Springs Transit will provide free shuttles to the downtown depot before and after the Christmas Parade. Transit will begin the free shuttles at 4 p.m. until the start of the parade, then for about an hour after the parade, approximately 8 p.m. Shuttles will run from the Planer Hill Park & Ride, Transit & Welcome Center and the Village at Pine Mountain parking lot to the Downtown Trolley Depot.
