The Eureka Springs DAR Abendschone Chapter members attended a headstone cleaning class with Eureka Springs Cemetery Superintendent Bruce Wright on Saturday, Oct. 15. The members soaked, scrubbed and cleaned 23 headstones. Some of the headstones were deceased DAR members and their family, others were stones needing attention because of their many years in the cemetery. The deceased member, Cole, died in 1996 and was an author and historian.
