Storytime at 10 a.m. at the Green Forest Public Library. All ages are welcome. There will be two groups: one for younger kids and one for older. All will have snacks and a craft.
Game night
Dungeons and Dragons at 6 p.m. every Tuesday at the Green Forest Public Library. Ages 16 and over. No table fees. Participants are asked to bring their own snacks.

Rebel Readers
Children ages 9-13 are invited to join Rebel Readers book club each Thursday during the summer. Participants read a book together, work on activities and crafts, discuss the book, and have a snack.
Free lunch
A free sack lunch provided by the Green Forest United Methodist Church will be provided at 11 a.m. each Thursday at the Green Forest Library until July 21.
Get Fit Club
JoAnn at the Green Forest Library will host a Get Fit Club at 6 p.m. each Thursday. This easy stretching class helps adults of all ages and mobility stretch and get slightly more in shape.

Mini Art Show
Visit the Green Forest Library’s Mini Art Show! Budding Artists from around Green Forest have created mini artworks and they’ll be on display for your viewing pleasure.

Crafting event
Come to the Green Forest Library to make a DIY 70’s style necklace, keychain, or bracelet. Adults and teens welcome to create these unique paint-poured trinkets. The event will be an all day, drop-in occasion.

Canning and Preserving
Kenny Gibson will teach the basics of canning and preserving food at 11 a.m. at the Green Forest Library.
JULY 17
Book launch
The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow will host a book launch party to celebrate the release of Eureka Springs author Heather McLoud’s second book, “The Biome Sacrifices.” The work is a timely young adult fantasy novel, which explores the price and motivations of war.
The event will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 515 Spring St. Eureka Springs. The event is free, and refreshments will be served.
Participants will be transported on an imaginary voyage to a parallel universe as McLoud reads aloud from her new book.
A Q&A session will follow the reading and books, signed by the author, will be available for purchase. Reservations are appreciated but not required. Learn more and RSVP at www.writerscolony.org/events.

AGFC presentations
The Arkansas Game and Fish will host presentations at the Carroll County libraries about the day in the life of a box turtle. Green Forest Library will host at 10 a.m., Berryville at 1 p.m. and Eureka Springs at 4 p.m.

Join Tammy at 10 a.m. at the Green Forest Library for Kids Cooking Club, which will teach the basics of cooking to children ages 7 and older. Learn how to measure, mix, and more.

Book Fair
Green Forest Library will host a Book Fair. All books will be purchased with “Green Forest Library Book Bucks,” not actual money. Visit the library to learn how to earn these bucks to buy books.
JULY 23
Stuffed animal sleepover
Bring your stuffed animals to the Green Forest Library at 10 a.m. for the second Stuffed Animal Sleepover. Children will leave their animals over the weekend to see what kind of mischief they can get into while all the humans go home in the evening.
July 28
Workshop planned
The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow will offer “Storytelling Through the Five Senses,” a workshop by Jennifer Moore from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 28.
The five senses are part of the shared human experience; incorporating them into one’s writing can be a powerful way for a writer to connect with readers. The workshop will be held at 515 Spring Street, Eureka Springs.
